January 2002 by Stanley Harbold, along with
his partner Dan Althoff of Abbottstown
Industries Inc., (www.abbind.com)
Carriers Plus, Inc. will strive to be your
one-stop-shop for all of your New Britain
Screw Machine needs.
Carriers
Plus is located within the 30,000 Sq. Ft.
building of Abbottstown Industries. which is
a fully equipped Tool & Die Machine and Steel
fabrication facility. Founded in 1961, Abbottstown Industries has been providing
high quality products and machining services
to local industries for over 40 years. |

Our President, Stan Harbold, brings with him
over 37 years of machining experience. Of
which, fourteen of those years were
spent dealing directly with New Britain Screw
Machine rebuilds, repairs and service. |

Office
Manager, Teresa Miller carries 12 years of
experience in handling various levels of purchasing, sales, inventory and
production control, as well as many administrative duties in regards to the New
Britain line. Teresa has developed a very good rapport with many customers, and
looks forward to doing the same with Carriers Plus, Inc.

Maurie
Grothe came onboard as the Mid-West and
West Coast Sales Representative in June
2002. He has worked in the Machining
Industry for over 45 years. His extensive
knowledge of New Britain Screw Machines is
due, in part, to working for the OEM for 30
years.

Ron
Laughman joined us in November 2002. He
holds an Apprenticeship Certificate as a
Machine Rebuild Technician and has worked
with New Britain Screw Machines for 14
years. Six of which were spent working for
the OEM.

Al Martin
added his talents in January 2003 as an
Engineer and Sales Representative for the
North-East. He has been working with Screw
Machines for 38 of the 40+ years that he has
worked in the Machine Tool Industry. He
possesses a degree in Industrial
Administrative Marketing and worked for the
OEM for 34 years. |

Jim Ditzler
(above center) is pictured with our Landis
Grinder which is specially tooled for
grinding
carriers of all makes and sizes. Jim is
certified as both a Machinist and Tool & Die
Operator.
He lends 12 years of experience in grinding
New Britain (OEM) carriers.
